Senior Superintendent

We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded Senior Superintendent to join our team.

This job will require travel between multiple jobsites located throughout the Upstate.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Will include onsite supervision of construction projects, scheduling, daily reporting to company and clients. This position requires individual judgment and decision making within the guidelines of the company.
• Mentor and develop field team members, working to foster a collaborative environment among project teams, subcontractors and owners
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, ensuring that projects remain on schedule and within budget

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Self-starter
• Degree in Construction Science or related field is preferred
• Proven experience in construction management, particularly in a supervisory role, with a solid understanding of construction processes and methodologies
