Job Overview

Burnett British Automotive is seeking a skilled British and classic car mechanic to join our team. If you’re passionate about vintage vehicles, British automotive systems, and restoration work, this role offers hands-on experience with iconic models like Jaguar. Rolls-Royce, and Aston Martin are a plus. In this position, you’ll apply advanced mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, ensuring exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on classic, vintage, and British vehicles
• Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to support accurate repairs
• Perform alignment, suspension, drivetrain, and transmission repairs
• Conduct preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean workspace
• Collaborate with the shop team to improve workflow and share technical knowledge

Basic Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic specializing in British or classic vehicles
• Experience with Jaguar. Rolls-Royce, and Aston Martin is a major plus
• Strong mechanical knowledge across engine, electrical, suspension, and drivetrain systems
• Proficiency with standard hand tools, diagnostic tools, and power tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on pre-2007 cars, particularly British cars such as Jaguar, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Land Rover, or other classic European makes
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of vintage and classic vehicles
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
