Bindery Operator

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output in all production tasks
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude and proven ability to collaborate effectively in team environments
• Efficiently manages multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced production setting
• Follows verbal and written instructions with precision
• Experienced in performing bindery operations under the guidance of a team leader
• Communicates clearly with production and manufacturing teams to maintain efficient workflow
• Possesses basic computer skills; familiarity with PSI software is an asset
• Maintains accurate, complete records for daily production activities and data tracking
• Consistently meets or exceeds company standards for safety, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction
• Knowledgeable in ISO procedures and work instructions; accurately completes required forms and checklists
• Comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
• Flexible and willing to work overtime, weekends, and assist other departments as needed
• Proactively takes on additional tasks to support production objectives
• Actively participates in team and company meetings
• Assists with the training and onboarding of new and temporary employees
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area
• Physically capable of standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
• Able to push and pull loaded pallet jacks and rolling carts
• Regularly lifts to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
• Effectively communicates job-specific details and shift updates to ensure smooth handoffs between shifts

Required Experience:

• High School Graduate/GED
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience operating 3 core machines in a printing environment.
