Overview

As the AVP of Sales for Cardio Partners at Sarnova, you will lead a dynamic, multi-tiered B2B sales organization. This role is responsible for designing and executing strategic sales initiatives that drive growth, strengthen customer relationships, and position Sarnova as a market leader in the sudden cardiac arrent industry.

Cardio Partners, a division of Sarnova, is a national leader in emergency prevention and an ardent advocate in the fight against Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Cardio Partners offers complete cardiac solutions to our customers including equipment, consultation, end-to-end training, and program management. As an authorized master distributor of all FDA-approved AED and defibrillator devices, the company provides customers with best-in-class value for new and recertified equipment. Customers’ emergency preparedness needs are met via Cardio Partners’ nationwide CPR training courses and state-of-the-art program management services.

Location preference is Dublin, Ohio. For candidates outside of Central Ohio, 100% Remote is acceptable.

Responsibilities

Summary:

As the AVP of Sales for Cardio Partners at Sarnova, you will lead a dynamic, multi-tiered B2B sales organization. This role is responsible for designing and executing strategic sales initiatives that drive growth, strengthen customer relationships, and position Sarnova as a market leader in the sudden cardiac arrent industry. Your leadership will foster collaboration, operational excellence, and team development to exceed revenue targets and advance Sarnova’s work in saving lives through innovative healthcare solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with corporate goals and drive market share growth for Cardio Partners
  • Build and lead a winning sales team that includes field sales, inside sales, and related revenue-generating teams
  • Optimize recurring revenue by driving the sale of service, technology, and subscription offerings as additions to capital equipment sales
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning for Cardio Partners products and services
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners to drive long-term business success
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of impactful sales presentations, proposals, and solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Finance, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Represent Sarnova at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the organization’s Cardio Partners portfolio
  • Maintain CRM systems and related reporting tools to track sales activity, forecast revenue, and analyze performance metrics
  • Efficiently and effectively manage a remote staff while meeting all required goals and business practices

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred but not required
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in B2B health, safety, or related B2B fields
  • Proven ability to lead large, multi-tiered sales teams and achieve ambitious revenue targets
  • Exceptional strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with digital sales, marketing, and eCommerce
  • Experience in optimizing recurring revenue sales models
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong sense of ethics, confidentiality, and integrity
