Introduction
An Associate Veterinarian is needed to join a thriving, community-focused small animal hospital in Denver, Colorado. This five-doctor practice is led by two experienced co-owners and is known for delivering gold-standard medicine and exceptional client service in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with flexibility to promote work-life balance and personal wellbeing. There are no Sunday or after-hours requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats while maintaining a strong focus on client education and communication. The role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality, personalized medicine in a collaborative setting, supported by skilled technicians and modern technology. Doctors are encouraged to bring their own clinical interests and expertise, with mentorship and continued growth opportunities available.

Practice Details
The hospital features advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including digital radiology, in-house laboratory equipment, and cloud-based paperless software for efficient workflow and recordkeeping. The practice emphasizes Fear Free techniques, preventive medicine, and client-centered care, ensuring every pet and pet owner receives exceptional attention and support.

Team
The incoming veterinarian will join a dedicated team of five doctors, including two co-owners, supported by experienced technicians and compassionate support staff. The team culture is rooted in collaboration, inclusivity, and community engagement, with regular volunteer work, staff events, and charitable initiatives that strengthen both workplace relationships and community ties.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
