General Practice Veterinarian (Associate Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a modern animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established team. This small-animal practice provides high-quality care for dogs and cats within a recently remodeled facility, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both clients and staff.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, while closed on Sundays. Doctors typically work either four 10-hour shifts or three 10-hour shifts per week to qualify as full-time. Weekend coverage involves rotating 1-2 Saturdays per month. There are no after-hours or on-call requirements, and flexible scheduling is available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of services including wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. The caseload is varied, and the hospital works closely with local specialists for advanced care, enabling doctors to manage diverse and challenging cases in-house. This role is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, with a supportive environment suited to both seasoned practitioners and new graduates seeking mentorship.

Practice Details
The facility is fully equipped with digital full-body and dental radiography, ultrasound, and a dedicated surgery suite. The hospital offers extensive services including preventive medicine, wellness exams, dentistry with digital dental x-rays, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, pain management, internal medicine, advanced diagnostics, hospitalization, intensive care, and in-house laboratory and pharmacy support. Additional services include nutritional counseling, behavioral guidance, and senior and pediatric wellness programs.

Team
The hospital is home to three DVMs supported by a team of experienced veterinary assistants, technicians, and client service representatives. With over 40 years of combined veterinary experience among the doctors, the culture is collaborative, welcoming, and mentorship-driven, providing strong support for veterinarians at every stage of their career.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
