Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
Process agency bill statements, premium payments, and reconcile carrier statements

-Track and reconcile commissions, fees, and financing transactions
-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
-Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management
-Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
-Work closely with management and department heads to ensure accuracy and timely reporting
-Support audits and provide financial insights as needed

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
-Insurance agency or MGA/MGU accounting experience preferred but not required
-Strong proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial reporting
-Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment
