Our client is a progressive, full-service veterinary hospital seeking a dedicated Emergency Veterinarian to join their expanding team in Middletown, Connecticut. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position within a hospital that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring continuous emergency and critical care coverage. The schedule offers the opportunity to work alongside a skilled emergency and specialty team in a flexible, supportive setting.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will manage a wide range of urgent and critical cases, delivering high-quality medical and surgical care to patients requiring immediate attention. The role involves working closely with specialists in internal medicine, neurology, surgery, diagnostic imaging, avian/exotics, and critical care to provide comprehensive treatment plans. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and those newer to emergency medicine who are eager to grow in a collaborative, education-focused environment.

Practice Details
The hospital features a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including access to an on-site Antech reference laboratory with a clinical pathologist. The practice hosts a full range of specialty departments-internal medicine, neurology, surgery, diagnostic imaging, avian/exotics, and critical care-offering a true multidisciplinary approach. The hospital emphasizes a doctor-led, medicine-first culture and provides opportunities for professional growth, education, and collaboration through internships, specialty training, and partnerships with veterinary technician programs.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
