General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated and collaborative team. The practice provides high-quality medical care for companion animals, with a strong focus on wellness, dentistry, surgery, and preventive medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with flexibility built into the schedule. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The role includes participation in a shared Saturday rotation, but not every weekend.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who is confident in dentistry and soft-tissue surgery. The role involves performing general wellness exams, surgeries, dental procedures, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and diagnostic testing while building meaningful client relationships in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position is not suitable for new graduates, as it requires a candidate who can work independently and contribute their expertise to the team from day one.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a wide range of services including wellness exams, dental care, spay and neuter procedures, advanced diagnostic imaging, pet surgeries, diagnostic testing, parasite prevention, and vaccinations. The clinic is equipped to handle a diverse caseload and prides itself on its supportive and respectful culture. Team
The team includes 4 veterinarians and a highly skilled support staff composed of experienced technicians and CSRs. Many staff members have been with the practice for years, contributing to a cohesive, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive work environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
