General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides care for cats and dogs, and they are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position offering a schedule of 36 to 40 hours per week. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm, with rotating Saturday shifts required when the hospital is open from 8am to 12pm.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves providing full-service general practice care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service AAHA-accredited general practice equipped with modern technology. The facility includes digital radiography, in-house ultrasound, a digital dental radiograph unit, and a fully equipped rehabilitation center featuring underwater treadmills and laser therapy. There are also opportunities to develop special interests, including rehabilitation and pain management.

Team
This is a 5-doctor practice, with four of the veterinarians having been with the hospital for between 9 and 22 years. The hospital fosters a supportive environment with a strong technician-to-doctor ratio.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
