General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a mixed animal practice seeking a Veterinarian to join their dedicated and expanding team. This hospital provides comprehensive care for small animals, equines, and large animals, offering a rewarding and varied caseload. The clinic is committed to delivering exceptional medical, surgical, and preventive care to its patients while maintaining a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on weekends. There are no emergency or after-hours service requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will manage a diverse range of clinical duties, including small and large animal wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, and preventive health. Surgical procedures range from spays and neuters to soft tissue, orthopedic, and dental surgeries. The role also involves performing diagnostic testing such as CBCs, blood chemistry panels, urinalysis, fecal examinations, and cytology. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with structured mentorship available to support professional growth and confidence development.

Practice Details
The practice features a modern, well-equipped facility with advanced diagnostics and a state-of-the-art surgical suite. Available equipment and services include comprehensive laboratory testing (both in-house and external), laser therapy, dentistry, wellness care, vaccinations, bathing, and boarding. Large animal services include Coggins testing, health certificates, PRV and Brucellosis testing, and vaccinations. The clinic maintains a strong focus on patient care and community service, providing a wide range of treatments and preventive programs to ensure the wellbeing of all species seen.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs supported by a dedicated and collaborative group of veterinary professionals. The environment fosters mentorship, learning, and teamwork, ensuring a positive and growth-oriented atmosphere for both experienced clinicians and those early in their careers.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
