Cnc Milling Machinist Programmer

We’re looking for a highly skilled Milling Machinist + CNC Programmer with 7+ years of experience in precision machining. This individual will handle complex setups, create CNC programs, and collaborate with our team to ensure jobs are done right — the first time.

You’ll work on advanced 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers producing tight-tolerance parts that demand expertise, focus, and problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines (3-, 4-, and 5-axis)
• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam or similar software
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
• Perform first article inspections and verify work using precision measuring tools
• Collaborate with Quality Control and Production to meet deadlines and maintain consistent output
• Troubleshoot machining issues, tooling, and offsets
• Maintain equipment and ensure all operations align with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards

Requirements

• 7+ years of CNC machining and programming experience (milling focus)
• Mastercam, Fusion 360, or equivalent CAM software proficiency
• Strong understanding of CMM processes, inspection techniques, and tolerance analysis
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Experience with aerospace or high-tolerance manufacturing preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must be reliable, punctual, and quality-driven
