QC Mechanical Inspector CMM

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This role requires a strong technical background in precision machining inspection, an understanding of CMM software, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on CNC machined parts
• Program and operate CMM equipment 
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and customer specifications
• Document inspection results in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and company standards
• Communicate effectively with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and measuring instruments
• Ensure all parts meet customer and industry standards

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in quality inspection within CNC machining or aerospace manufacturing
• Proficiency in CMM programming
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Experience with surface finish measurement, height gauges, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality systems
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

• Aerospace manufacturing background
• AS9102 First Article Inspection experience
• Understanding of machining processes (milling, turning, etc.)
