Daily Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and develop menus
• Ensure high food quality standards are met and maintained
• Manage food costs and labor costs effectively
• Supervise back of house operations and staff development
• Oversee banquet catering and menu development

Required Skills:

• Culinary degree or proven experience leading kitchen operations at a similar level
• Extensive understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
• Able to work in a fast paced high stress environment
• Experience in restaurant management
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards
• Menu planning and cost management expertise
• ServSafe Certified with a focus on cooking and food preparation
• Passion for quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction
• Must be a self driven chef who is looking to grow their career

Nice to Have Skills:

• Catering experience
• Experience in staff development and training
• Knowledge of banquet catering and event planning
