Responsibilities

Design and optimize extrusion processes
Troubleshoot production challenges
Analyze performance data
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure operations meet quality, safety, and cost standards
Develop and refine extrusion parameters, die designs, and cooling profiles to maximize throughput and product quality
Diagnose and resolve production issues related to metal flow, surface finish, dimensional accuracy, and equipment performance
Ensure all processes meet OSHA standards and internal safety protocols
Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and train operators on best practices and new technologies

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
2 years of experience in Process Engineering
Continuous improvement and lean tools
Experience with PLCs, SCADA, or other automation systems is a plus
Implement manufacturing processes
Proven work experience in process engineering
Excellent technical skills
Proficiency in CAD software and process simulation tools.
Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Knowledge of process related standards
Experience in process simulations
Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
