General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital hiring for a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. The clinic primarily treats cats and dogs, with some pocket pets, and is looking to expand due to increased patient volume.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Sundays. The position offers flexible scheduling, with the opportunity for the veterinarian to set their own appointment schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive care in areas such as wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Appointment slots are typically 20 minutes for wellness visits and 30 minutes for other cases, with flexibility based on the veterinarian's preference. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and support available.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house laboratory equipment, ultrasound, a tonometer, five exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, and a full dental suite. The practice culture focuses on providing high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Team
The team currently includes one veterinarian, two certified veterinary technicians, and two assistants. The environment is collaborative and supportive, making it an ideal setting for new graduates as well as experienced doctors seeking a well-equipped and team-oriented workplace.
