General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a small animal and exotics hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This practice provides compassionate, high-quality care to a wide range of species, including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, pocket pets, and other exotics. A new hospital building is set to open in Fall 2025, which will expand services to include equine and further exotic care, supporting the continued growth of this four-doctor practice.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Thursday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. The position is available on a full-time basis, and there are no on-call requirements, allowing for a positive work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care to a diverse patient base. Duties will include wellness and vaccination programs, diagnostics, surgery, anesthesia and patient monitoring, and pain management. The role is well-suited for a veterinarian who enjoys working with both small animals and exotics, and who values client education and personalized treatment. This position is open to veterinarians with experience as well as those eager to develop their skills further.

Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped to provide a wide range of services, including wellness and vaccination programs, medical services, surgical services, anesthesia and patient monitoring, and pain management. Facilities are designed to support both preventive and advanced care throughout the lifetime of each patient. With a new hospital building on the horizon, services will expand further to include equine and broader exotic care. The culture is supportive, collaborative, and focused on delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Team
The current team includes one DVM, with plans to expand to a four-doctor practice in line with the upcoming new hospital building. The doctors are supported by a dedicated team of staff who work together to ensure excellent patient care in a collaborative and welcoming environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
