Job Description:
We are seeking a Graphic Designer for a contract position to support our marketing and commercial organization through creative processes and deliverables. This role will collaborate with leadership, sales, marketing teams, and agency partners to execute our annual tactical plan. Responsibilities include developing and deploying new and existing campaigns, supporting field requests, and assisting cross-functional teams within the US Companion Animal and Equine business unit. The Graphic Designer will work closely with brand managers to create, proofread, edit, and format marketing materials, ensuring a consistent brand voice. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to influence without authority and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Responsibilities
Create presentations and communication materials based on leadership guidance
Revise PowerPoint and PDF documents per team feedback or copy approval
Re-size creative ad concepts for print and digital use
Design and re-size social media placements using existing photos and ad concepts
Retouch and color-correct images
Create flashcards and basic field selling materials according to marketing team direction
Develop standardized reports and assist with prioritization tasks
Edit marketing and promotional videos, ensuring quality and alignment with brand standards
Create and manage digital assets for multi-channel campaigns
Utilize Figma for collaborative design projects and prototyping
Work within Veeva PromoMats to manage, review, and submit commercial materials for approval
Qualifications
Education
Minimum required education- Associate degree
Preferred: Bachelors degree
Experience
Proven experience in graphic design, including digital asset creation
2-3 years in graphic design projects
Proficient in use of InDesign, Adobe, PowerPoint and Photoshop software
Experience utilizing or certifications in design software such as After Effects, Dreamweaver, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
Experience using HTML and Salesforce for email creation
Proficiency with video editing and related software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects)
Hands-on experience using Figma for design and collaboration
Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats for commercial content management
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience in development of and leading Graphic Design projects for Animal Health or pharmaceuticals
