Our client is a hospital currently hiring for a Clinical Medical Director to lead its veterinary team in Chicago, Illinois. This innovative practice focuses on delivering both primary and urgent care services for companion animals.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Clinical Medical Director will serve as the lead veterinarian on the clinic floor, overseeing all aspects of patient care, clinical quality, and team development. Responsibilities include implementing protocols, driving clinical standards, mentoring veterinarians and nurses, and contributing to operational strategy and clinic growth. The role requires a DVM/VMD with a minimum of five years of clinical experience and a strong background in leadership or mentorship. Experience in urgent care, dentistry, or surgery, as well as launching or scaling veterinary clinics, is a plus.

The practice combines urgent and primary care in a modern veterinary model, operating in locations across Logan Square, Roscoe Village, Clybourn (Lincoln Park), and a forthcoming site in Forest Park. Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
