Veterinarian

Join our team at Animal House Shelter, Inc in Huntley, IL as a Veterinarian. We are a no-kill, non-profit shelter providing a safe haven for all breeds of cats and dogs since 2002. Our mission is to rescue and care for homeless pets, finding them forever homes through adoption or foster care. We rely on donations and volunteers to save the lives of over 3,000 dogs and cats annually.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide small animal care including preventive care, dental prophylaxis, and surgery
• Educate clients on proper pet care and treatment plans
• Perform digital radiography, dental radiography, and ultrasound procedures
• Administer vaccines and anesthesia as needed
• Handle emergency and urgent care cases with compassion and skill
