Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management or Industrial Engineering
• Depth in ISO standards
• Develop and enforce safety policies in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure safe working conditions
• Investigate incidents and near misses, document findings, and recommend corrective actions
• Deliver safety training programs in both English and Spanish, covering PPE, emergency response, hazard communication, etc
• Develop safety programs and procedures
• Follow and implement OSHA regulations
• Expert knowledge of safety system analysis
• Support audit contractor and EHS policies and standards
• Interface with state and federal agencies such as State Environmental agencies, DOT, EPA and OSHA
• Develop and implement Safety programs
• Comply with environmental management system for manufacturing facility
• Conduct research for the purpose of identifying, abating, or eliminating sources of pollutants or environmental hazards
