Responsibilities:
- Maintains all safety and accident records.
- Support audit contractor and EHS policies and standards.
- Develop and implement Safety programs.
- Comply with environmental management system for manufacturing facility.
- Generate and maintain documentation related to EHS initiatives.
- Contribute to administration of EHS programs.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Participates in site compliance, review, and audits (internal and external).
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement corrective actions to reduce hazards, prevent injuries, and minimize environmental impact—delivering timely, cost-effective solutions.
- Work closely with Human Resources to file incident reports, manage work restrictions, and coordinate light-duty assignments or accommodations as needed.
- Utilize corporate EHS software systems to track performance metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and identify safety trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management.
- Manufacturing Industry experience.
- Follow and implement OSHA regulations.
- Expert knowledge of safety system analysis.
- Safety training
- Strong working knowledge of EH&S regulations, compliance requirements.
- Continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations pertaining to EH&S.
- Expert knowledge of safety system analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify potential hazards or risks.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
