Daily Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort
- Administer contrast materials when required, following safety protocols
- Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions or concerns
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
- Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of CT equipment
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure timely and accurate results
Required Skills:
- Excellent intrapersonal skills
- Maintained BLS certification (Must be maintained while in the position)
- Technologists are required to be registered –
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists will be the credentialing organization required
- ODH License required
- Proven clinical and didactic capabilities
- Maintain required Continuing Education credits to hold current registration organization membership
Nice to Have Skills:
- Basic Computers skills with ability to navigate PACS / RIS
- 3 years previous experience in the field of Medical Imaging
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $68,800 to $88,780 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and more.
