Flagpole Installer and Servicer - Construction Laborer

***WILL TRAIN*** We are looking for a hard-working individual that will be a part of the team as a flagpole installation and repair crew member and enjoys learning in a growing company that has been in business for over 65 years. All training will be provided and there is great room for advancement.

Flagpole Service - the job will require changing ropes, snaps, flags and other parts. Servicing may require use of boom lift - jobs are as high up as 150 feet in the air with use of crane or equipment. Smaller jobs may require use of a ladder.

Flagpole installations - the job will require labor including digging holes, lifting parts and equipment up to and over 80 lbs.

This job is a fulltime job – when not on the field this team member would be required to be in the office to be available to help with customer calls and estimates.

Job Requirements:

• Be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs, unassisted.
• Work with materials including dirt, concrete, sand, aluminum and steel etc.
• Consistently and effectively read written material necessary to confirm installation requirements.
• Possess a valid driver license and driving record that is sufficient under company auto insurance policy.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Work effectively, as part of a team, with a positive attitude.
• Work independently on a customer site.
• Knowledge of computers and internet.
• Travel to different job sites.
• Be responsible for parts and inventory.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Cost estimating.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation & troubleshooting of flagpoles and foundations and flagpole parts and accessories. Will train.
• Participate in training, following instructions and procedures
• Communicate with clients and customers in a professional matter
• Utilize smartphone/tablet for time keeping, scheduling, and company communications
• Be available in the office for the estimate team and customer service for related job questions and assistance with inventory/products
