Role Overview

We are seeking an all-rounded Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) particularly skilled in stretching massage modalities, to join our team. You will deliver high-quality therapeutic and wellness massages to support client recovery, flexibility, relaxation, and mobility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client intake and health history to assess individual needs, limitations, and stretching or massage requirements.

• Deliver safe, professional massages, including dynamic stretching, Swedish, sports, or other modalities, tailored for optimal flexibility, posture, and performance.

• Create a relaxing and healing environment adhering to hygiene, safety, and licensing standards.

• Educate clients on at-home stretching and self-care practices to maintain progress between sessions.

• Maintain detailed, accurate client records (session notes, progress reports) in compliance with privacy norms.

• Assist with scheduling, supplies, clean-up, and general wellness studio operations as needed.
   

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) (or equivalent credential recognized in New York State or your operating jurisdiction).

• Strong working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and flexibility/stretching techniques.

• Excellent communication, client service, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical work, and adapt treatments as needed.

• Professionalism, discretion, and commitment to client safety and wellness.
