Psychotherapist / Assistant Director

As a Psychotherapist / Assistant Director, you will play a key role in providing therapeutic services while also assisting in the management and oversight of our mental health programs. We have four offices and growing. The hours are flexible but do require evenings to accommodate our higher funcitoning population that attend school and work.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conducting psychological assessments and developing treatment plans
• Providing individual and group counseling sessions
• Collaborating with community resources to support clients' needs
• Implementing interventions and treatment strategies
• Participating in marketing and community presence through various means including our free community workshops

Required Skills:

• NJ license in psychology, social work, family therapy or counseling required
• Knowledge of mental health and behavioral health practices
• Proven skills with building and maintaining caseloads
• Ability to conduct psychosocial evaluations and diagnosis
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic interventions
• Ability to counsel and coach staff for high level professional practice

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in telehealth services
• Knowledge of social services and community resources
• Background in outpatient mental health settings

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 annually with bonuses to earn additional income up to $135,000
