A nationally recognized Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), known for its excellence in integrated, whole-person care, has been chosen as the exclusive medical provider at a revitalized community center in Coatesville, PA. This is a rare opportunity to shape a site from the ground up—armed with institutional support, cross-disciplinary infrastructure, and a bold, proven mission.
This isn’t a fill-in role. This is a call to establish care where it’s been underserved for too long, and to do it in partnership with a visionary health system that has already earned the trust of more than 40,000 patients across the region.
Total Compensation Package: $230,000+Base Salary : $210,000 – $230,000 depending on experience
Relocation Assistance : Included
CME : $5,000 + 5 paid CME days
FTCA Malpractice Coverage : Occurrence-based, no tail required
403(b) Retirement Plan : With employer contribution

33 Days Paid Time Off : Including holidays, vacation, sick leave, and CME
National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Eligible
This new Coatesville clinic provides care to more than 4,400 unique patients annually across medical, dental, and behavioral health services. As the founding physician, you’ll lead a site expected to mirror that volume within its first few years, with:
Estimated Daily Visits : 17-20 patients per provider
Projected Panel Size : ~2,200 patients once established
Annual Visits Per Patient : ~3.25 on average across the network
Support Staff : Full-time medical assistants, care coordinators, behavioral health professionals, and enabling service teams
EMR : AthenaHealth with full IT and informatics support
Your role is not just to provide care, but to lead the evolution of that care in a way that ensures access, continuity, and excellence.
ResponsibilitiesProvide full-spectrum outpatient primary care to patients of all ages in a team-based care model
Build your patient panel with a focus on continuity, prevention, and quality outcomes
Collaborate with integrated services including behavioral health, dental, and addiction recovery
Contribute to quality improvement, population health tracking, and community health initiatives
Supervise and mentor mid-level providers, students, and residents (if desired)
Use data, technology, and support tools to enhance care efficiency and quality
Participate in clinic-level leadership and long-term strategic planning
MD or DO, Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Family Medicine
Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility
Prior experience in FQHCs, public health, or mission-based care is highly valued
Spanish language ability is a plus, but not required
Strong communication, collaboration, and community relationship skills
Deep personal and professional alignment with underserved populations
