Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their vibrant small animal and exotics practice in Clarksville, Tennessee. This unique clinic combines high-quality preventative and emergency care with integrative and holistic treatment options, offering a well-rounded and progressive approach to veterinary medicine.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm. There are no on-call or after-hours responsibilities, and weekend duties are minimal. The schedule is highly flexible to support work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a diverse caseload that includes small animals and exotics, delivering routine exams, surgery, dentistry, emergency care, and integrative treatments. The clinic also provides services such as cold laser therapy, acupuncture, ozone therapy, platelet-rich plasma, and prolotherapy. This role is best suited for an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped and offers a wide array of traditional and holistic services. Clinical offerings include vaccinations and prevention, internal medicine, dental care, surgery, senior pet wellness, cold laser therapy, and advanced pain management modalities. The environment is modern, well-supported, and designed to offer comprehensive care across all life stages and species, including exotic pets.
Team
The team includes two DVMs supported by a strong and cohesive staff with a 1:4-5 DVM-to-assistant ratio. The culture is collaborative, mentoring-focused, and built on a commitment to innovation, continued learning, and integrative medicine.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
