Our client is a hospital seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Benicia. This full-service hospital provides comprehensive medical services for cats and dogs, offering families and their pets reliable, compassionate veterinary care alongside outstanding client service. The role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian passionate about high-quality medicine and building lasting client relationships, with the opportunity to manage a high volume of urgent care cases.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open seven days a week, Monday through Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This full-time role offers the ability to see both scheduled and urgent care appointments during regular business hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Associate General Practice Veterinarian (DVM) who thrives in a dynamic and compassionate environment. Responsibilities include providing preventive and routine care, diagnosing and managing internal medicine cases, performing surgical and dental procedures, and delivering geriatric and pediatric-focused care. You will also have the ability to pick up urgent care cases during hospital hours. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a supportive team of veterinary professionals, working alongside the Hospital Manager and reporting directly to the Regional Manager to ensure exceptional patient care and client service.

Practice Details
This is a fully equipped hospital featuring advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities. The hospital offers a wide range of services including vaccinations and preventive care, routine exams, internal medicine, urgent care, dentistry, geriatric care, and health certifications for travel. Equipped with digital radiography, digital dental X-rays, bloodwork capabilities, urinalysis, fecal exams, and EKG, the hospital ensures accurate and timely diagnostics to support excellent patient outcomes. Surgical services include treatment for injuries, tumor removals, dental surgeries, and more.

Team
The hospital is currently led by one DVM and supported by a team of skilled veterinary professionals. The environment is collaborative, ensuring that both patients and their families receive compassionate, high-quality care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
