We are seeking an Optometrist to join our growing ophthalmology practice. As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to our patients. This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. We are excited to hear from you! 

Job Details: 

• Perform annual eye exams and contact lens fittings

• Diagnose and treat ocular conditions

• Conduct LASIK and SMILE consultations alongside consultant

• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients

• Collaborate with ophthalmologists in a surgically driven practice 

• Work with a dedicated team and the latest diagnostic technology

• Alternate weekend call schedule with other doctors for the office’s established patients 

• Be the leader of your assigned office and staff

• Encourage referral network of physicians and optometrists for surgical candidates

• Encourage patient follow up and referrals
   

Job Requirements:

• Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care

• OD licensed in Texas (or eligible)- Current 

• DEA License- Current 

• Excited to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented surgical practice

• Team-oriented with strong communication and clinical skills

• Knowledge of EMR- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, including test results and any recommended follow-up care.

• Knowledge of billing and coding with commercial insurance 

• New grads and experienced ODs encouraged to apply

• Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

• Bilingual is a plus but not required
