What You’ll Do:

As a Value Stream Manager, you’ll lead your area in achieving goals tied to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. You’ll be at the heart of driving Lean transformation and daily operations—coaching, guiding, and motivating your team to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Continuous Improvement & Lean Leadership

  • Build and sustain a culture of continuous improvement

  • Lead Kaizen events and teach Lean tools and problem-solving techniques

  • Eliminate waste and drive efficiency across all processes

Operations & Metrics Management

  • Own your KPIs: productivity, safety, delivery, and quality

  • Analyze data, close performance gaps, and align the team with business goals

  • Conduct Gemba walks and maintain visual management tools

Timekeeping & Labor Management

  • Ensure accurate timecard processing and PTO management through ADP

  • Partner with HR to manage headcount and staffing levels

  • Monitor attendance and escalate hiring needs in a timely manner

Team Leadership & Development

  • Coach, mentor, and grow your team—recognize top performers and address underperformance

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and flexibility through cross-training

  • Promote open communication and clear performance expectations

Technical & Documentation Oversight

  • Maintain expert-level process knowledge

  • Drive documentation of standard work and continuous workflow improvement

Communication & Reporting

  • Deliver clear, data-driven updates to leadership and stakeholders

  • Host plant tours and customer visits as needed

  • Present performance metrics using Excel and PowerPoint

Safety First

  • Champion a culture of safety and compliance

  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions


What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, or related field) or 3–5 years of proven manufacturing leadership

  • Strong Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience

  • Analytical mindset with a track record of solving problems and hitting goals

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
