Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Program - Appalachian Regional Healthcare.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

You must be willing to accept 84 hours per two weeks scheduling (one-week 3x12, next week 4x12).

Travel Pairs will not be accepted on the same shift or unit.

Required credentials: Drivers license is required in all submission packets.

Preferred credentials: AVADE Level I & II

Shift & schedule requirements: Every other weekend required. ALL Facilities work a Schedule of 36/48 for the two weeks pay period unless notated otherwise on job order. Ratios can fluctuate with census, call in, etc.

Floating requirements: within scope of practice only; 6040, 6041, Rehab, Transfer Unit, ER Hold

Unit and facility details: Short stays- RN will have all MS/ TELE & observation patients.
