Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join a hospital in Akron, OH as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in a high-acuity setting. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate fluoroscopic imaging equipment to capture images and data of the heart and vascular system. Provide scrub assistance during diagnostic and interventional procedures and support peri-procedural patient care.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT (R) registration/certification required.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technologists if ARRT.
• Minimum 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience required. Candidates with 2-3 years of Level 1 trauma experience may be considered.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred).
• State licensure as required by Ohio Department of Health when applicable.
• RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) preferred.
• Experience operating fluoroscopy equipment and providing scrub assistance during cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Willingness to work scheduled call rotations as required by the facility (see Assignment Details).

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Day 3x12-Hour. 07:00 - 19:30.
• Call requirements: scheduled call rotation including every 6th week plus one night week; additional call expectations per facility policy.
• Assignment Length: 12-13 week assignment.
