Job Summary
Job Description
Become a vital part of a hospital team in The Dalles, OR as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images. You may perform additional imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification: Required.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with CT credential (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)) or R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required.
- Advanced certification in CT: Required for OR. Preferred in CA.
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS (Basic Life Support): Required.
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred for OR.
- Venipuncture certification: Preferred for OR.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred.
- Experience working in hospital imaging departments or comparable acute care settings. Minimum 2 years CT experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Flex Shifts.
- Schedule pattern: Variable 4x10, 40 hours per week.
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks.
- Position duties may include general radiography and fluoroscopy in addition to CT procedures.
- May be required to work variable shifts as needed by the facility.
