Minimum Requirements:
- Active Pharmacist license in California required.
- Minimum 7 years of hospital pharmacy experience required.
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
- Experience with IV compounding required.
- Experience supervising and directing pharmacy support personnel preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy required. PharmD preferred.
- All licensures and certifications required by state to fulfill pharmacist duties required.
- Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
Assignment Details:
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift schedule: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts, 08001600.
- Weekend coverage: Up to every other weekend required.
- Call: Closing pharmacist on call until open in the morning. No additional call required for assigned day shift.
- Staffing model: Works with pharmacy technicians (10-hour shifts) and other pharmacists (8-hour shifts)..
- EMR: Cerner.
- Special procedures: IV compounding.
- Scrubs: Provided for IV technicians only. Pharmacists have no color requirement.
