Pharmacist - Travel Job

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Pharmacist license in California required.
• Minimum 7 years of hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
• Experience with IV compounding required.
• Experience supervising and directing pharmacy support personnel preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy required. PharmD preferred.
• All licensures and certifications required by state to fulfill pharmacist duties required.
• Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience preferred.

Assignment Details:

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift schedule: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts, 08001600.
• Weekend coverage: Up to every other weekend required.
• Call: Closing pharmacist on call until open in the morning. No additional call required for assigned day shift.
• Staffing model: Works with pharmacy technicians (10-hour shifts) and other pharmacists (8-hour shifts)..
• EMR: Cerner.
• Special procedures: IV compounding.
• Scrubs: Provided for IV technicians only. Pharmacists have no color requirement.
