Job Summary and QualificationsThe Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice.Maintains a safe therapeutic environment.Identifiesnursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. Registered Nurse plans individualized patient care whileutilizingan interdisciplinary approach.Participates in performance improvement activities.Provides care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospitals mission and vision statement.

Your roledemonstratesthe ability to perform technical skills, follow procedures, and show critical thinking.
You will provide care and coordinate participation that fosters the goals of the hospital's mission and vision statement.
What qualifications you will need:
Your degree from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (B.S. or A.S.)
1 year of RN experience
Labor and Delivery experience highly preferred
BLS
ACLSRequiredwithin 6 months
NRPRequiredwithin 6 months
AWHONN basic,intermediateand advanced within one year
CPI Training & Certificationrequiredwithin 6 months
Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or Compact State

Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge. We provide a full range of medical and surgical services. These services include orthopedics and robotic surgery. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department. This ED is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The facility also offers obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures. We also hold a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
