Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience providing outpatient physical therapy evaluations and 60-minute evals plus treatment sessions preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documentation of goals, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise or delegate discipline-specific therapy services, and to participate in student clinical education preferred.
- Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete required continuing education as mandated by the State Practice Act.
