MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented PROJECT MANAGER to join our large format additive manufacturing team in STAFFORD, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading end-to-end DoD project execution for LFAM initiatives, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and performance management
  • Supporting and navigating the Marine Corps Capability Development Process by translating operational needs into executable technical and manufacturing plans
  • Serving as an experienced integrator across the Naval Lab enterprise, coordinating requirements, technical inputs, test events, and transition planning
  • Driving manufacturing operations planning and day-to-day coordination to enable reliable production, sustainment, and readiness outcomes
  • Partnering with engineering teams to apply CAD-driven workflows to support design iteration, manufacturability, and configuration control
  • Leading additive manufacturing process optimization efforts, including parameter refinement, quality metrics, throughput improvements, and corrective action tracking

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with 4 years of experience in the field; or, 10+ years of progressively responsible project/program management experience supporting DoD efforts
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex DoD projects with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and measurable delivery commitments
  • Direct experience with the Marine Corps Capability Development Process, including requirements translation and stakeholder coordination
  • Hands-on experience with Large Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM) technologies and implementation considerations
  • Experience using CAD tools to support engineering collaboration, manufacturability assessments, and configuration control

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent program management credential
  • Experience transitioning additive manufacturing capabilities into operational production environments for DoD customers
  • Experience developing manufacturing readiness assessments, validation strategies, and transition-to-production plans
  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing quality assurance practices and process control methodologies

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current and active TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able and willing to perform occasional manual labor and warehouse duties, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
