Computed Tomography Technologist Travel Job

Become a vital part of our team as an experienced CT Technologist in Rockford, IL. You will perform computed tomography procedures, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. You may be required to alternate shifts, work weekends and holidays, and participate in on-call rotations to provide patient care across assigned mobile imaging sites.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology or equivalent educational credential.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or Radiography with CT registry eligibility.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing diagnostic CT procedures and operating CT imaging equipment.
• Ability to administer IV contrast and manage contrast-related protocols.
• Experience with patient positioning, immobilization techniques, and correlating clinical history with imaging exams.
• Comfort performing portable, fluoroscopic, or radiographic duties if assigned as part of radiographer responsibilities.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including weekend and holiday rotations, and participate in on-call coverage.
• Must be able to travel between assigned mobile imaging locations as needed.
• Preferred: Experience working in mobile imaging or multi-site environments; CT experience in trauma or hospital settings.

• Typical Schedule: 3 - 12-hour shifts per week; examples include 08:30-21:00 or 10:00-23:30.
• Weekend rotation, holiday rotation, and on-call rotation required.
