Job Description
Salary: $3,366.65 - $3,566.65 /wk
Become a vital part of the team as an experienced CT Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents, and operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic-quality images for a hospital setting.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT technologist experience.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent education.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and ARRT-CT preferred; ARRT-CT required by client.
- State radiologic technologist license for California required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience operating Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 LightSpeed CT scanners preferred.
- Experience with Cerner charting system and McKesson PACS required.
- Management or charge experience required by client.
- Experience performing ED, gated cardiac studies, virtual colonography, and general CT procedures preferred.
- Ability to handle high-volume shifts (10-20 scans depending on shift) and work busier evening/night periods.
Assignment Details:
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Primary specialty: Computed Tomography Technologist.
- Shift: Nights. 8-hour night shifts.
- Orientation: 3-4 floor-specific shifts plus 12 total orientation hours.
- Floating: May float to other radiology areas as needed.
- EMR/PACS: Cerner and McKesson PACS.
- Staffing notes: Radiologist coverage not 24/7; Nighthawk used for overnight reads.
