Introduction

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Scrum or Agile and contribute to large-scale planning related to Scrum Master deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Scrum Master challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Scrum Master deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel.

$62 to $70/hr w2

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 4 years of Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Influential Leadership
  • Risk & Dependency Management
  • Executive Escalation
  • Enterprise Agile Delivery
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Actively drive resolution of team impediments, cross team dependencies, and delivery risks by influencing Product Owners, technology partners, and leaders through clear, fact-based communication.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate risks early—within the sprint or planning horizon—ensuring leadership has timely visibility into issues that may impact scope, schedule, quality, or compliance.
  • Facilitate the scrum process with cross functional impact that involve moderately complex projects, non-projects, or maintenance work.
  • Guide the scrum teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.
  • Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance and making work visible through backlog refinement, WIP, and dependency tracking to improve flow/predictability.
  • Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met by evidence readiness and established definition of done.
