Job Description
Salary: $2,378.43 - $2,578.43 /wk
Become a vital part of a hospital team in Mount Clemens, MI as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, operate CT equipment, and support diagnostic imaging services for acute care patients.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of CT experience required.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with Philips CT equipment required.
- Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
- Traveler (contract) experience preferred.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent) preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Schedule: 3x12 midshift with flexibility to 3x12 or 4x10 schedules.
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.

Additional Role Summary and Responsibilities:
- Set up, monitor, and operate CT equipment for diagnostic studies per radiologist protocols.
- Position and transfer patients following safety and proper lifting techniques; apply immobilization devices as needed.
- Provide patient identification, obtain allergy and clinical history, and monitor patients for contrast reactions.
- Prepare and administer IV contrast appropriately and per departmental protocols.
- Perform daily calibration, quality control, and basic equipment troubleshooting.
- Capture, store, and transfer electronic/digital images and maintain documentation of studies.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement activities and assist radiologists with specialized procedures as needed.
