Veterinary Technicians - Join Our Compassionate Care Team!
Are you a veterinary technician who values gentle patient care and wants to grow your skills in a supportive environment? We're a well-established, privately-owned small animal practice seeking a dedicated team member to join our close-knit group of professionals.
What Makes Us Different
For over 30 years, we've built our reputation on gentle handling techniques and creating positive experiences for both pets and their families. Our small team approach means you'll work directly with our two veterinarians, have input on patient care decisions, and develop meaningful relationships with clients and their pets.
You'll gain hands-on experience with advanced treatments including laser therapy, ultrasound, stem cell therapy, and comprehensive dental care - skills that will enhance your personal and career growth.
Your Role & Growth Opportunities
Core Responsibilities:
Blood collection and IV catheter placement
Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
Patient nursing care and post-operative monitoring
Client communication and education
Dental prophylaxis and radiography
The ability to anticipate needs and the initiative to act accordingly
Professional Development:
Continuing education allowance for licensed technicians
Cross-training opportunities
Mentorship from experienced team members
Clear advancement pathways within our growing practice
What We're Looking For
Experience Level:
We welcome both experienced technicians (2+ years of experience preferred) and motivated newcomers ready to learn. We believe in investing in the right person regardless of where they are in their career.
