Join a skilled nursing facility in Meridian, MS as a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist. Provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in a post-acute and long-term care setting. A recruiter will contact qualified applicants with full assignment details.
Minimum Requirements
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Mississippi SLP license or compact-eligible licensure required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to start.
- Experience working in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, including clinical bedside evaluations and therapy for tube-dependent patients preferred.
- Documentation experience with electronic medical records required. Specific EMR experience is preferred but not required.
