Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting, supporting equipment reliability across all production areas
• Lead and oversee the maintenance department for a 24/7 multi shift operation, ensuring rapid response and continuous support for production
• Make accurate equipment adjustments to maximize uptime, throughput, and product quality
• Maintain production assets in optimal operating condition to support safe and efficient operations
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules according to established maintenance strategies
• Support plant wide maintenance needs, including repairs, installations, upgrades, and facility projects
• Diagnose equipment issues, determine necessary repairs, and perform or direct maintenance on machinery and mechanical systems
• Manage all maintenance technicians, PM teams, and parts room personnel, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency
• Ensure production departments operate at peak performance by minimizing downtime and improving equipment effectiveness
• Maintain accurate and up to date information within the CMMS for work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and spare parts inventory
• Lead equipment improvement projects, overhauls, and upgrades to increase asset availability
• Collaborate with production scheduling to coordinate equipment downtime for PMs, repairs, and major rebuilds

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Maintenance Supervision: 5 years (Required)
• Metals Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Must come from metals manufacturing
• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel / management
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to lift to 80 lbs.
