This Level I facility provides comprehensive pediatric hematology/oncology services with specialized capabilities for complex pediatric cases. The facility maintains modern medical equipment and established protocols to support quality patient outcomes in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

This area offers diverse attractions ranging from cultural institutions like the Detroit Institute of Arts and Motown Museum to outdoor experiences such as sand dune buggy rides and nature areas including Mackinac Island State Park and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The clinician will provide comprehensive pediatric hematology/oncology care through both inpatient and outpatient services. Responsibilities include conducting one week per month Monday-Monday coverage with 8 AM to 5 PM inpatient rounding and call coverage. The position requires board certification in pediatric hematology/oncology and involves managing both routine and complex pediatric cases with call responsibilities to ensure continuous patient care.
