The Role

As Accounting & Tax Manager, you'll own a portfolio of small business clients from end to end, including monthly accounting, tax filings, and ongoing advisory conversations with the owners themselves. 

This is a client-facing leadership role, not a back-office function.

You'll be the trusted voice business owners call when they're making real decisions, and you'll lead a team of staff accountants who are counting on you to develop them on a day-to-day basis. That means reviewing financials, guiding tax strategy, managing client communications and contributing to the firm's continued growth and improvement of its delivery model.

What They're Looking For

Must-haves:

• A CPA or EA credential (or meaningful equivalent experience)
• At least five years in public accounting with client-facing responsibility, and demonstrated experience leading or mentoring team members 
• You need to be comfortable in cloud-based environments including QBO, Xero, Karbon, Loom, Gusto, bill.com, etc. and similar platforms which are a part of daily life at this firm

Nice-to-haves: Experience working with SMB clients across multiple industries, comfort with advisory-level conversations that go beyond the numbers, and familiarity with more leading-edge, AI-driven technologies
