As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in implementing patient care plans and collaborating with physical therapists to ensure optimal treatment outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

Implementing components of patient care and obtaining data related to treatments
Assisting physical therapists in treating individuals of all ages
Helping patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups
Reading and following instructions from the Physical Therapist
Working directly with the Physical Therapist to assist patients
Communicating with families to determine the best at-home techniques
Maintaining a clean and organized physical therapy area
Assisting patients in moving from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area
Completing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
Teaching patients techniques like balance training

Requirements for this role include:

Need 1 year experience in setting
PTA license
BLS certification
