Minimum Requirements

  • Doctoral, Masters, or Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience treating general orthopaedic outpatient caseload, including total joint and post-op protocols for rotator cuff and ACL.
  • Experience with gait and balance assessment and interventions.
  • Experience treating minimal neuro conditions such as post-stroke rehab.
  • Comfort managing occasional vestibular and pelvic floor cases preferred.
  • Ability to split time between two nearby clinic locations as part of the assignment.
  • Clinicians certified in dry needling are preferred, as dry needling is used at both locations.

Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Caseload: General ortho population including total joint and post-op RCT/ACL; gait/balance; minimal neuro; occasional vestibular and pelvic floor.
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 12 visits per day.
  • Floating: Position requires splitting time between two nearby clinics.
