Your "Take Off" will be successful by doing the following with excellence:

  • Serves as the first point of contact for the President & CEO. Screens and prioritizes telephone calls and responds to requests in a professional and timely manner, handles messages, daily mail and greets visitors.
  • Provides executive administrative support to CEO and Chief Development Officer ("executives"), including all scheduling and calendar management; maintains and coordinates the executives' complex business schedules, ensures executives are well informed of all commitments, responsibilities and other matters that require attention and prioritizes conflicting needs and handles matters proactively and timely; ensures communication with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepares for monthly Board of Directors and Committee meetings. Prepares meeting agendas, attends meetings to record minutes, compiles, transcribes, distributes meeting minutes, and tracks items as needed. Coordinates with the Legal Department review of all Board Resolutions and other matters appearing before the Board.
  • Coordinates all logistics and technology requirements for Board of Directors and Committee meetings. Provides administrative support to Board Members on airport authority business matters.
  • Arranges executives' and Board travel logistics and conference registrations, tracks and maintains purchase, travel entries, and expense reports.
  • Prepares any communication and documentation needed by the executives; prepares agendas, minutes, action items, and reports, prepares responses to correspondence and customer complaints; tracks all items and any necessary follow-up and competition dates.
  • Coordinates, partners, and maintains effective working relationships with Authority's internal and external stakeholders; works closely with community leaders, government officials, Board Members, and other individuals.
  • Handles special short and long-term projects and may be expected to make recommendations to executive staff; develops project strategy and processes, conducts research, compiles and interprets data, writes reports, and makes recommendations to executives.
  • Performs related work as required.

Your "Landing" will be smooth if you meet the following requirements:

  • Associate's degree in business administration or a related field and minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting C-Level executive; or equivalent of education and experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills to effectively interact with executives, board members, community leaders, and government officials
  • Ability to anticipate executives' needs and apply critical thinking to make sound decisions
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and resourcefulness and can work effectively with minimal direction
  • Strong prioritization and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Targeted salary range is $90,000 - $115,000. The offered salary will be based on the candidate's education and work experience, demonstrated job knowledge and skills, internal equity and other key factors.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes testing for marijuana (medical marijuana cards are not acceptable)
